Welcome to the website of Stony Stratford Community Church (SSCC). We care about every person who is part of the community here from the age of 0 to 90+. Our church services are relaxed, using modern worship songs usually led by a worship band. The sermons aim to be relevant to our lives today to help us grow in faith and deepen our relationship with God. The Bible, as the Word of God, has always been the central influence in our ministry and we constantly seek the help of the Holy Spirit to help us present the truth of Jesus in a meaningful and effective way. We would love to meet you and invite you to share with us in worshipping God this Sunday at 9:15am, 11:15am or 6:00pm.
If you are on your own or not a regular churchgoer, you may feel nervous about your first visit. So you may prefer to first call Jacqui Green (Senior Minister) or Ross Dilnot (Associate Minister) at the church office who can talk to you further.

» Fellowship Tea (third Wednesday of each month)
3:30pm -5:15pm
This is a short time where the elderly members of the community can get together for a time to chat with friends, enjoy a cup of tea and savour the delights of sandwiches and cake. Why not come along yourself or recommend Fellowship Tea to someone you know who you think might enjoy this group. We’d love to see you. » Drop In (Thursdays)
12.00pm to 3.30pm
Held weekly in the church hall, Drop In welcomes people of all ages and backgrounds. We provide a two course home-cooked hot lunch followed by tea, coffee and biscuits alongside good conversation, laughter and board games. Transport available.
» Sunday Service Details
As from Sunday 5th September our Sunday service program has changed. Below are the new details. We look forward to meeting you at one of our services.
1st, 2nd, 4th & 5th Sundays of the month: 9:15 AM & 11:15 AM service & 6:00 PM service
3rd Sunday of the month 10:30 AM service only.
Creche, childrens and youth work are provided in the 11:15 AM service only and on the 3rd Sunday when it is an All Together service.
» CAP Money Course
CAP Money is a three session course designed to get you back in control of your money.
The course starts on Monday 12th September 2010 at 7.30pm with sessions two and three on 20th & 27th September respectively.
The course is FREE, but booking is essential! To book contact Doreen Hall via the church office.
» Cafe Church Re-Launch
Cafe Church will be re-launching this Autumn and a special taster evening showing the new-look format will be held at Stony Stratford Community Church on Saturday 11th September 2010 from 7:30pm. Why not come along, enjoy some coffee and cake and see what exciting things are in store for this new look MSC!

Now you can keep up to date with everything going on at Stony Stratford Community Church with our new iPhone App which is now available to download from iTunes.
You can access the church calendar and the latest community and news information. You never need to miss another sermon as you can link to our podcasts free using this App, or by visiting iTunes for the podcast. We have also provided you with a map to find us should you be new to Milton Keynes. Finally you can see some of the latest images from recent events such as Cafe Church.
The App, currently only available on the iPhone, can be downloaded from iTunes and is compatible with the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. It costs £0.59 to download to cover the administraion costs of providing this service.
