When you arrive at Stony Stratford Community Church, our Welcome Team will greet you and will direct you where to go and will answer any questions you may have.
Most weeks we hold two services on a Sunday. A morning service at 10.15am with children and youth activities and a quieter evening service at 6pm.
Sunday Mornings (10.15 – 11.45am)
Morning services at Stony Stratford Community Church include a blend of contemporary Christian songs and traditional hymns led by a team of musicians and a talk which is around 30 minutes and aims to be relevant to our lives today. Following the talk there are opportunities to be prayed for and sing some more songs.
A créche is available and activities for children and youth are provided.
After the service, tea and coffee are served. This is a great opportunity to chat and to get to know each other better.
Sundays Out – Second Sunday
On the second Sunday of the month we will be out serving the local community in various ways.
We won’t have a traditional service as we will be out in various locations.
Afterwards we will meet up for a bring & share lunch.
Sunday Evenings (6 – 7.30pm)
We have two evening services a month, usually on the second and fourth Sunday. The second Sunday is a worship evening and the fourth Sunday is dedicated to prayer. Please see the events section for the most current information.
On the fourth Sunday morning, bread and non-alcoholic wine are served to remember Jesus’ death and the debt he paid for us. If you do not believe or are unsure, just let the bread and wine pass by you.
