Seaside Rock Holiday Club

This year’s holiday club is called Seaside Rock and runs from Wednesday 23rd – Friday 25th August, 10am – 2pm.

Seaside Rock is for children in school years reception – year 5. Please note, all children attending, must have completed reception by 31st August 2017.

Holiday club is free and they’ll be lots of fun including games, songs, bible stories, crafts and bouncy castle.

20s and 30s Alpha Course

What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each session starts with a meal together and then followed by a short video talk. There is then a chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic and ask questions about the Christian faith. For more information visit the alpha website.

When: 7 – 9.45pm every Wednesday for 10 weeks.

Sunday 11th December Service

This Sunday, 11th December only we are re-locating to Bradwell Primary School, Bounty Street, New Bradwell, MK13 0BQ.
The next service in our building will be Carols by Candlelight on Sunday 18th at 5pm and 7pm.
We hope to see you there.

Christmas at SSCC


Stony Stratford Community Carols – Saturday 17th December 5 – 6.30pm on Horsefair Green. Community carol singing accompanied by the Woburn Sands Band “Quintet of Six”. Mince Pies and Mulled Punch will be served throughout. The event is jointly organised by Stony Stratford Community Church and the churches of Stony Stratford.

Carols by Candlelight – Sunday 18th December 5pm & 7pm. Traditional carols and bible readings. The 5pm service is suitable for children. Please join us after either service for drinks and mince pies.

Christmas Eve Midnight Service – Saturday 24th December 11.15pm – Midnight. Bringing in Christmas day with modern and traditional Christmas carols and bible readings.

Christmas Day All Age Celebration – Sunday 25th December 10.15 – 11.15am.
Come and join us in celebrating the new-born King. The service is only an hour long and includes a time for the children to bring their Christmas presents and show everybody.

Men @ Curry

CALLING ALL MEN – Please join us at the Spice Hut in Deanshanger on Tuesday 22nd November at 7.30pm for a relaxed curry evening. The restaurant have offered us the banquet deal at £11.95 per person.

Summer Services

Over the summer, from 31st July until 28th Auguest, children will join the main service for worship for the first 30 minutes.

After this all the children will be in the hall for 25 minutes for drink and biscuit and a fun multi age activity. During this time there will be a sermon in the sanctuary.

The children will be back in the sanctuary for the last part of the service for worship. The children’s work will return to normal on 4th September.

New Associate Minister

Stuart Earl and family

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Revd Stuart Earl to the post of Associate Minister.

Stuart will move here with his wife Nicky and children Zeph and Jazmin during May half-term.
