Nehemiah
The Jewish people were in captivity in Babylon for 70 years. They had a huge task to face when they returned to Jerusalem. The city had been devastated and had to be completely rebuilt. Through Nehemiah, and others, God gave them a vision for what could be achieved, and helped them overcome the obstacles in their way. As we face the call, opportunities and challenge of building God's Kingdom we learn lessons from these events to help us in what God has for us to do in 2009.
