Barry Howson | Elder & Trustee

Barry became the church secretary and a trustee in 2023, having been a member of the church for approximately seven years. 

“The best part of Christian experience is knowing Jesus and enjoying seeing Him in action and feeling His presence. My desire is to use the gifts God has given me in His service.” 

Barry is now retired but is familiar with the statutory records needed by companies, including charitable companies, having carried out Company Secretarial work for a number of years. 

Barry became a Christian as a teenager and has been involved in music in church ever since. His Christian experience includes a period as a lay minster and as organist and choirmaster. He is also part of the healing team and prophetic team. 

He is married to Judy and they have one daughter and three grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family and is a keen photographer and musician.
