Christmas at SSCC
tremendous love, then “loving one
another” should be our way of life!
1 John 4:11
In a world where Christmas is full of tinsel, lights and presents, it’s easy to get lost in it all. There is so much busyness, the latest toys for the kids, the parties, the Christmas number one. The heart of Christmas can become simply diluted, watered down to something palatable, like a nice sentiment or a season of goodwill. However, the message of the Gospel is not simply a nice sentiment or easy on the palate. It’s counter cultural, it’s extravagant, it breaks stereotypes, it transcends through time, it stands out and boldly proclaims: ‘Here is Love!’
