You are invited to celebrate Christmas
at Stony Stratford Community Church

Christmas is a very special time of year, as we remember when God sent His Son Jesus to be born as our Saviour. There are lots of different events happening in and around the church during December – we look forward to welcoming you.

Community Carols

Saturday 15th December, 5 – 6pm

Community carol singing and bible readings accompanied by Woburn Sands “Quintet of Six”. Mince pies and mulled punch will be served throughout.

We will be outside the church on Horsefair Green or inside the church if it is wet.

Organised with friends from local churches.

A service where the whole church meets together as we prepare for Christmas.

Carols by Candlelight

Sunday 23rd December, 5pm and 7pm

Join us as we share in singing traditional carols and contemporary songs, with readings that unfold the story of Christmas. The 5pm service is particularly suitable for children.

Join us for drinks and mince pies after each service.

Monday 24th December, 11.15pm – 12am

We join together in a very special service to welcome in Christmas Day.

Christmas Day, 10.15 – 11.15am

Celebrate Jesus’ birth with us, in an informal and family-friendly service. The service is only an hour long and includes a time for the children to bring their Christmas presents and show everybody.

Location and Parking

The church is located in the centre of Stony Stratford, a market town in the north-west corner of Milton Keynes.

If you are coming by car, use the post code MK11 1BY which will take you to the free car park in Cofferidge Close at the rear of the church. Enter by the door in the centre of the church buildings.

There is also an entrance in Horsefair Green (MK11 1JW), but there is no parking available on this side of church.
